27.08.09 21:18 | for Kevin : There are 2 versions of the 2516 bell. Silver and copper, both with the same print. There is a bunch of other bell shaped editions, that doesn't come from 2516 - they are later editions. I hope this explains your question. Please check the date on the back. If the date is 2516 and the print is different from what you can see in the LP Kasem amulet section, then the piece may be a fake. Jan |
17.08.09 17:51 | for all : LP Kasem amulets- 2516 bell shaped amulets. I was made to understand that there are 4 versions of the 2516 Copper bell shape amulets, the most famous being Bok Niyom. Is that true? I have been given a bell shaped amulet of LP Kasem. However, the wordings at the back seemed different.. kevin khaw |

25.11.07 14:03 | for All : I'm planning to Pattani, looking for a car rental with english/chinese speaking driver to drive us around Pattani, anyone has recommendation?
Thanks Cloud7 |
31.10.07 13:39 | for all : I am working on LP Doo biography as i've recently received a couple of articles from Chris Jones of http://www.buddhist-amulets.com/ Jan |
11.07.07 14:48 | for All : Further information, LP Jaawy, Wat Sree Oo Thoom Phaawn, Nakhon Sawan & LP Sohng, Wat Saa Laa Din, Ang Thong were just pass away.
Someone who is going to visit Thai soon, strongly recommand to visit LP Reuuang, Wat Khao Saam Yaawt, Lopburi, Lp is too old and hard to move, sit on his bed, temple is located behind the Thai Military area & in the jungle below mountain.
If someone like to visit famous Monks in Thai, drivers(the guesthouse owner "Nik" and "A") from this guesthaouse ( http://www.shambarabangkok.com/ )located in Khao San Road used to bring us around, good english speaking, most important is they will do good homework to bring us to visit as many as we can in that whole day, my max record is 8-9temples in two difference provinces, Nakhon Pathom & Ayutthaya, who interested can be write in early and say Lau recommanded, and they know what is the expectation, cos owner needed time to run the guesthouse business too. THB1500 from 8am to 5pm, extra THB200/hrs after 5pm, excluding petrol.
Cheers Chee How |
11.07.07 14:20 | for Yong : Hi,Yong,I'm working in Singapore, you can reach me by my mobile 97978392, u have any email add? i can sent u my pics of thai trip.
For what I know now, tat will be very difficult to visit LP Koon now, cos LP is sick and be isolated in LP persoanl room, be afraid of outsider bring any virus closer to LP.
I just came back from BKK, been Ayutthaya, visited two new LP, LP Euuan, Wat Wang Daeeng Dtai & LP Iiat, Wat Phai Laawm(I like to visit LP in Thai personally).
I like to collect bucha & amulets but dislike to rent, and recommand my friends to rent from persoanl, cheaper. Chee How |
26.06.07 02:36 | for Chee How : Hi Chee How. Where are you from? I'm from Singapore. I got a LP Koon amulet which i got it not long ago. It's not a very old amulet but i think it bring me luck... Chok dee chok dee... Yong |
19.06.07 15:57 | for Yong : Hi, my first amulet is LP Koon also, BE2536 Rian, still keep preciously with me, thai peoples say legendary that you are not getting poor if you have LP Koon & not getting flag down if you have LP Tim, Wat Phra Kao, Ayutthaya.
I used to be seen 3 buses from BKK to visit Wat Phra Kao at the same time, can be guarantee there is crowded if LP is around, now it's too hard to free talking with LP Tim, also LP still very active to attend those chanting ceremony, the best time to visit will be morning before 11am, strongly recommended since LP already 96.
Cheers Chee How |
19.06.07 15:40 | for Jan : Wat Pikoontong is located at Singburi, it is very famous around there, ever there is roadsign to guide you there, still can find some amulets personally chanting by LP Pae, Pae Sam Pan(third batch)THB6000 & BE2540 bucha. Chee How |
